Re: ETC2015 The report
Scatter dice always point to me, which counts as a hit. I've never needed to re-roll to hit or wound. I can preemptively steal my own initiative. My army lists have won Pulitzers. Final note, I'm awesome. -Jon "The Man" Willingham
Re: ETC2015 The report
Jag "snacka" lite med Sean Nayden som spelade Nids/Talos i team amerika, han sa detta om matchen mot Sverige:
Edit - såg en diskussion om en grej i Tonys armé:
Against Sweden I lost the roll to go first. He rolled infiltrate. Then I gambled on who could infiltrate first and lost that roll too. This led to a rough game. As I deployed my flyrants and lost one along with three wounds on another and two wounds on the third turn one. Any of those three rolls go my way and it's probably a beat down the other way.
List was really fun and worked really well. Also when we put it forward it twice caused the other team to simply stop and argue for a while before matching against it. Lack of terrain on bottom match tables made going second rough in last two games. No Los blockers.
Edit - såg en diskussion om en grej i Tonys armé:
How can Tony Copach take an Imperial Bastion for his Legion of the Damned Detachment? LotD have no fortifications slot in their codex.
It's taken for Eldar CAD, obviosly
If it's taken for Eldar, than LotD cannot use the Comms Relay re-rolls,
because Eldar/Imperium are now only allies of conveniance. It seems he
took the Bastion with Comms to make sure the Legion will get on the
table on turn 2, but it's not legit.
I don't think that's accurate. Looking through the rules for the relay, it doesn't mention any restrictions. For a warlord trait or a special rule (like the Autarch), you would be correct.
The Rulebooks says that Allies of conveniance "Cannot use modifiers and re-rolls that apply to Reserve Rolls that are granted by an
Allies of Convenience model." To use the Comms for the Legion he would need at least 1 Imperial unit standing next to the Comms at the beginning of the turn when he rolls for reserves. Eldar bikes won't give him re-rolls.
The bastion/comms themselves are factionless units and are granting the reroll.
Hmm, så vad gäller? Not exactly true, in 7ed they are claimed, and to use Comms You need Imperial Unit standing next to that comms
