Ursäkta att jag inte har svarat. Jag missade din fråga. Den stora stenbiten på basen hänger med modellen, men resten är hemmabygge.
Och nu har Chaplainen fått en kompis!

It is painted in the same style as my regular Death company. Grey with even more battle damage than usual. If you charge headlong into the enemy, your armour will not look clean and new after. Unfortunately, the photo is quite bad as some of the highlighting and shading seems to disappear.
For the banner, I went with the usual mix between horror movie poster and religious painting, with a bit of heavy metal estetics thrown in. The words on the banner "In Death Salvation" are supposed to have multiple meanings. For the enemy, seeing the image of the masked angel and those words, it will probably just seem like he is a religious fanatic who thinks he will "save" them by killing them. For the "pilot" of the Dreadnought it represent his chance of redemption. The Black rage has taken its hold and he is doomed. But if he can just use the strength it gives him against his enemies, their deaths may turn his last moments into something glorious, and thus earning him salvation. But in reality, the words also mean that death will most likely be the only salvation for the poor soul who now suffers from Black rage.
The saws instead of fists is an idea I have had for a long time. Since I use that on power armoured marines, it would be cool to try it out on a dreadnought. Originally I had planned to have a Chaos cultist who had been cut in half lying on the base. But that had two problems. The first was that it would require lots of blood and gore to look realistic. And in the end I felt that it would look less brutal and more splatter moive than I wanted. The second problem was that a cultist is so far from an even matchup for a death company dreadnought, It's not anything special to kill a cultist who never had a chance of hurting the dreadnought. So I decided to use the chopped of arm from some kind of mutant monstrosity instead.
I am really pleased with the fresh blood and it is a bit darker in reality than this photo.

Jag gillar verkligen blodet på nävarna, där du lämnat det halvtransparent så att tex de gula varningslinjerna lyser igenom det tunna lagret av blod, istället för att bara slafsa på en djupt röd blodig färg överallt. Toppklass!

Några nya modeller uppmålade! När DC-dreaden var färdig så kunde jag teoretiskt sett använda DC-formationen. Men minimi-enheter med dödskompani känns inte så hett. Så för att kunna fielda två vettiga enheter med hoppande dödskompanister i framtiden har jag börjat måla fler sådana. Det behövs några till, men det är åtminstone ett steg på vägen.

Lite nya tacticals klara. De behövdes både på grund av att den nuvarande codexen drog ner mig från 7 till 2 Troops choises och för att kunna spela med BA:s egen Decurion.
Men det var faktiskt förvånansvärt kul att måla dem. Det var väldigt längesedan jag målade något så basic till mina FT.

Lite nya Flesh tearers klara inför 40k-turneringen som ersätter GothCon. Scouter!
Kanske inte världens bästa modeller, men de är coola och kompar bra. Och efter den senaste erratan är de åtminstone lite mer spelbara.
När jag för länge sedan målade upp sniperscouter till mina Storm Falcons testade jag en idé med att mantlarna ändrade form och textur för att matcha underlaget. Dock hade de sandbaser, så det var en rätt enkel sak att fixa. Med mina FT-scouter ville jag testa samma sak, men med de mer avancerade baserna som de har blev mantlarna en större utmaning. Men jag är nöjd med resultatet.
Och till sist en liten jämförelse med en vanlig marine. Jag gillar hur kontrasten blev. De ser ut att höra till armén, men skiljer ändå ut sig rätt mycket. Och ser betydligt mer kamouflerade ut.

Hög kvalitet som vanligt Ooan. Riktigt snygga scouts. Plåtgolvet på kapporna blev riktigt, riktigt bra.
